Meeting Facilitation

Organizations often benefit from engaging a third-party facilitator to guide important meetings. Meeting facilitation is one of Brio Leadership's specialties.  We approach facilitation collaboratively, working with you to design an agenda that meets your specific needs. As discussion leaders, we provide a non-anxious presence to guide conversations about either weighty or difficult topics. Our team building events are both fun and educational, because we use experiential exercises that get people out of their chairs and assessments that help participants understand both their own and their colleagues' personal styles. We strive to hold the group accountable to the agreed-on agenda and process while allowing participants to explore, discuss and experience the topics covered. Brio Leadership often uses techniques from Parker Palmer's Courage and Renewal work by starting with the "Touchstones" guide to group conduct and introducing poetry into the meeting.
